ARRCS Katherine Hostel Aged Care facility, located in Katherine Northern Territory is sourcing an experienced Hospitality Worker – Laundry, Cleaning and Kitchen Hand to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis working 38 hours per week on a rotating roster. This role is being offered at a penalty driven hourly rate of $27.21 - $27.76 / hour gross base depending on skills and experience plus salary packaging.
This role will see you working across the facility providing cleaning, laundry, and kitchen hand services which includes washing and sorting clothing and linen, general cleaning of residential rooms, floors, public areas, dishes, and some meal preparation within our kitchens.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working within a cleaning environment and is happy to support other operational areas within the facility when required. You will be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. You will understand the importance of your role and the impact it has on our residents.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
* Ideally, previous experience in a cleaning environment.
* Ability to commit to rostered shifts and understanding of the impact on our elderly residents when allocated shifts are not completed.
* Ability to work well independently as well as with other team members.
* A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
* A motivated, enthusiastic, and positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
