Established in 1992, we're committed to providing quality services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary and public health for over 6,000 residents of this remote landscape. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, and a Corporate Office in Darwin, our delivery is focussed on 7 health centres across East Arnhem Land and dedicated outreach teams who travel to additional locations.We're looking for an influential leader with deep expertise in Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) who brings a strong track record in delivering systems, driving cultural change, and managing complex risk. You'll be a confident communicator, experienced in coaching, influencing and leading diverse teams through change, with the ability to create psychologically safe environments and drive high-impact decision-making. To succeed in this role, you'll need extensive experience across physical and psychosocial hazard identification and management and the design and delivery of tailored support and capability building activities. Tertiary qualifications in HSW or a related field are essential, as is a strong understanding of relevant contemporary legislation, high digital literacy, and a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination.
