As part of their continued growth, they seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Production Supervisor to join their Manufacturing team.
The Role
The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient day to day operation of manufacturing as well as be instrumental in managing all in-house manufacturing processes from dispensing, compounding, filling, labelling, and packing.
You will support external production processes and work across Supply Chain to support all production releases whilst leading the Production Operation Teams which will involve rostering, daily and weekly task management, adherence to schedules, coaching and training, and providing a safe environment for all team members.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
4. Oversee dispensing, compounding, filling, labelling, and packing processes within the production facility
5. Assist with quality sampling of raw materials, packaging or finished goods under direction from the Compliance Team.
6. Ensure all manufacturing activity is correctly reflected in the ERP
7. Maintain the accurate identification and labelling requirements across all finished good products
8. Perform required cleaning procedures across dedicated areas and equipment
9. Oversee the production and manufacturing consumable replenishment requirements.
10. Assist Manufacturing Manager in innovating strategies to reduce downtime and minimise production delays.
11. Improve output and identify areas where time can be saved, or processes can be streamlined.
12. Report on production plan adherence daily to Manufacturing Manager.
13. Conducting daily production start (Toolbox) meetings, ensuring that daily and weekly tasks assigned are completed
14. Identify gaps in Production Processes and provide systematic solutions to improve production.
15. Support Training for SOP/WI and policies with internal stakeholders.
16. Apply mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
17. Adhere to GMP guidelines and protocols to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
18. Provide Team Leadership & Supervision whilst ensuring Safety and remaining Compliant.
To succeed in this exciting role, you will possess:
19. Previous experience in a leadership capacity
20. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certificate/diploma
21. 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
22. Proficient in Microsoft Office, WMS and ERP software
23. Proficiency in quality control, managing budgets and production costs
24. Strong mechanical aptitude + troubleshooting expertise
25. Positive, proactive, professional attitude
26. Ability to build strong cross functional working relationships
27. A desire to grow with the company
