If so, we are looking for someone like you:Partner with senior event specialists, business hosts, and marketing strategists regarding objectives, timing, and target audience.Establish individual project budgets and monitor spend whilst exercising cost control.Dependent on scale of project, either support or coordinate end-to-end process of event planning & execution: development of marketing materials, management of client registration and overall logistics.Source, negotiate and contract vendors including venues, catering, audio visual & production, transportation & branded merchandise.Coordinate logistics & act as a liaison for C-Suite management & speakers regarding their participation at conferences & events.Work within a legal and compliance framework, providing optimal client experiences within guidelines.Conduct post-event evaluation including attendance metrics and financials.Your teamYou'll be working in the IB Event Marketing team in Sydney.
We partner with Global Banking, Global Markets & IB Research as well as regional marketing strategists to deliver the event needs of the Investment Bank.
These events include investor conferences, educational seminars, client entertainment events, sponsorship events, deal and non-deal roadshows and bespoke reverse roadshows.Your expertiseUp to 3 years conference and event management experience, preferably in investment banking or financial services.Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and solid general administration skills (you keep track of the details and keep stakeholders updated).Detail oriented with proven ability to effectively juggle multiple projects in various stages of development, prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.Ability to work under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience working with online event management systems.Interest in innovation and finding creative solutions to meet objectives.High level of professionalism and discretion.About usUBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
