The Role
Warehouse Supervisor - Pinkenba
This full-time role involves overseeing daily operations at our high-volume Brisbane Warehouse, ensuring the efficient supply of spare parts and materials while maintaining compliance with Sandvik's Warehousing and Logistics procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead by example in safety, ensuring all operations comply with Sandvik's safety and compliance standards.
2. Drive KPI achievement, responding to customer needs with urgency and accuracy.
3. Develop expertise in warehouse systems, including WMS, payroll, ordering, and Aurora/DI programs.
4. Collaborate with Leading Hands to plan daily warehouse operations.
5. Manage stock movements and liaise with Sandvik supplier warehouses.
6. Maintain warehouse upkeep, housekeeping, and general maintenance.
7. Support weekly and monthly reporting as needed.
8. Assist in ongoing team training and development.
9. Oversee and support purchasing, receiving, dispatching, and inventory control.
10. Ensure compliance with Sandvik's EHS policies to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Your Profile
You must have strong computer skills, be adaptable, safety-focused, and reliable. Your ability to take initiative, stay flexible, and communicate effectively will help you build strong relationships.
Experience in warehouse supervision, managing both casual and permanent staff, is essential, along with at least 5 years' experience in a mining or equipment manufacturing warehouse. A current Driver's License and High-Risk Work License (Forklift) are required.
