About the Opportunity
Lithgow City Council is looking for qualified Casual Learn to Swim Instructors to join their team at the JM Robson Aquatic Centre in Lithgow, NSW.
The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and deliver high quality instruction and safe swimming lessons in a safe, fun and effective manner. To have a complete knowledge and understanding of all aspects of teaching swimming, water safety and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in classes at all times. To be able to undertake other duties as required including lifeguarding where qualifications allow.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* Current Austswim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
* Current Austswim Certificate – Teacher of Infants and Aquatics
* Current CPR Certificate
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate
* Current Working with Children Check (if over 18)
* Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
* Commitment to Work Health and Safety
To be eligible for this position you must attach copies of relevant certificates/courses with your resume.
About the Benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, Lithgow City Council is offering a casual rate of $17.77 - $37.21 per hour depending on applicant's age and experience.
