Your Role
As a Care Worker with KinCare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older members of our community.
Key Responsibilities
* Domestic Assistance: Cleaning homes to ensure they are safe and beautiful places to live
* Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping customers with meal preparation and shopping
* Social Support and Transport: Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
* Personal Care: Assisting with personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
* Respite and Emotional Support: Providing respite and emotional support
* Complex Care: Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing
* Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
* A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role
* The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help
