About the role:
We are looking for an amazing Team Leader to support and develop a team of 45+ passionate community workers who provide a wide range of in-home care services to the elderly around Perth (with some infrequent travel to regional areas).
You will provide coaching, ongoing support, and direction to a geographically dispersed team with the goal of achieving exceptional customer service. You are the daily point of contact for the team, and also conduct interviews and inductions for new care workers, manage team and individual performance and drive safety initiatives.
You will also manage payroll and other admin tasks, ensure compliance targets are met and handle customer escalations with support from the management team. When you are not with your team doing field visits, you are able to work from home as required.
About you:
* Proven team leadership experience supporting large teams within community, call centre, retail, hospitality or similar industries.
* You will have the ability to build trusted relationships, communicate with empathy whilst maintaining professional boundaries with your team.
* Previous experience within the Community/Aged Care industry would be great but not essential.
* Exceptional communication and time management skills with an ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong passion for compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrated experience with coaching, having difficult conversations and performance managing frontline teams.
* Stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Leadership plusTraining and Assessment are desirable.
