Our Ideal Manual Machinist/Fitter We are looking for an individual who is trustworthy, self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, well-organized, and a supportive team player.
Requirements To be successful, you will need to have an extensive background with Manual machining and Fitting.
Must hold Trade Certificate 3 in Machining or Trade Certificate 3 in Fitting/Machining.Competent with Manual lathes, Vertical Borers, and Mills.Ability to measure and work to fine tolerances with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.Keen to learn and move forward with the company.Be a team player that is willing to assist in all aspects of the company.Must have current Australian working rights.Successful applicants must be locally based.Be able to pass medical, drug, and alcohol screening.Experience in working with valves would be ideal but not essential.What you will be doing Fulltime day shift role with a minimum 38-hour week and a 9-day fortnight.Combination of Manual Machining, Precision Fitting, Painting, Thermal Spray, and QA.Assist in other areas of the business as required.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:
