FIFO Scheduler 2/1 from Perth to Northwest WA
Liberty Industrial is seeking an experienced FIFO Scheduler to join our team on a 2:1 roster in Northwest Australia. This role is critical to the successful planning and execution of brownfield projects, including phased execution, shutdown scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
1. Strong background in brownfield projects, handling phased execution, and managing overlapping work sequences.
2. Ability to structure schedules to minimize operational disruptions and ensure efficient transitions.
3. Stakeholder Management and Communication Skills.
4. Experience liaising with major clients, contractors, and third-party teams.
5. Skilled in managing third-party schedules, resolving conflicts, and providing clear project updates.
6. Capable of coordinating across departments such as operations, shutdowns, and maintenance.
7. Previous experience in shutdown or turnaround scheduling within a mining or port environment.
8. Proficiency in S-curve reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of project milestones and critical paths.
9. Strong knowledge of lead times, notice periods, and resource coordination.
Desirable Skills and Experience
1. Experience in Demolition and Heavy Industry Projects / Construction / Mining / O&G.
2. Background in demolition, mining, or port operations - highly desirable.
3. Understanding of industry-specific risks and challenges.
4. On-site Construction Experience.
5. Exposure to on-site project management.
6. Ability to observe progress first-hand and engage directly with ground teams.
7. Risk Management & Recovery Planning.
8. Experience in schedule risk assessments and recovery planning.
9. Ability to build contingency plans and adapt schedules in response to unexpected delays.
10. Previous experience working on Rio Tinto projects (highly desirable).
