The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.Based at New Norfolk community Nursing Team Lower Ground, New Norfolk District Hospital, this role also requires working across sites which could include starting your day at either Central Highlands (Ouse), New Norfolk, and Midlands (Oatlands), involving home visits and clinic appointments.You will need:Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures, and practices in the delivery of patient/client care in a designated practice area and in line with legal requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (ANMB) National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse.Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Knowledge of continuous quality improvement (safety and quality) and the application of evidence-based practice in the practice setting.Ability to undertake patient/client education in the practice setting, together with a commitment to participate in ongoing professional development.Details of appointment: Fixed term, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately twelve (12) months. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata).
