Community Support Worker - Shellharbour & surrounding suburbs

Regal Health, a Lumia Care company, presents an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to assist our clients in Shellharbour & surrounding suburbs.

We have a client requiring a community support worker trained in personal care and for overnight services from 6pm - 6am.

Role responsibilities:
* High care needs client requiring assistance in personal care, hoist, manual handling competent, domestic assistance, varied shifts - day and overnight during weekdays.
* Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.
* Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.
* Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestic assistance, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.
What we are looking for:
* A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
* Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
* Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Experience in personal care and hoist.
* A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.
* Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
* Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
* NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.
* Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
