Responsibilities: - Coordinate front-of-house- Work on the floor and supervise floor staff- Manage and respond to reservation enquiries.- Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction- Respond efficiently to customer complaints- Organize and supervise roster- Provide regular training to improve staff competencies- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory- Control costs and cut waste- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor- Additional areas of the business you would be responsible for: Cantina (shop), Casa Emilia cooking school (weekly classes and Team Building) Requirements: - Extensive knowledge of Italian food & beverage and culinary traditions- Sommelier skills - minimum is an understanding of how to describe our hero wines from Italy and our own vineyard here in the Hunter Valley.- Proven working experience as front of house manager- Demonstrated career experience in customer service management- Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills- Acute financial management skills
