InfoCentric is currently hiring for a Software Developer/Data Engineer. As part of our team, you will be working with some of Australia's largest organisations to deliver industry-leading data solutions. This role is full-time and permanent, based out of Melbourne.
Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: Develop software packages in R, Planning Analytics, and Python to drive business decisions based on data. Develop unit test scripts for all new and existing features in R and Planning Analytics to deliver reliable and robust IT products. Document programming language code using tools like Confluence and GIT to create end-user and technical documents. Perform requirement and risk analysis, including consulting stakeholders, gathering business requirements, and creating risk reports for IT projects. Automate IT processes using tools like GoCD and Ansible for continuous integration, testing, and deployment of programming code. Perform system support activities like auditing systems, planning upgrades, and communicating with impacted users. Troubleshoot and debug software code using tools like PuTTY and R to ensure adherence to IT coding standards. About you: At least 2 years of experience in a related field. Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills. Experience in building systems and services in the cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS) using Java and the latest front-end technologies. AngularJS and GraphQL experience are preferred. Experience in building systems with event streaming, service bus, or message queues (Azure Event Hubs/Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar). Understanding of code testability and experience in build pipelines and DevOps (CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code). Who Are We?
