Selection Criteria KSC1 Relevant qualifications and experience in Student Support Services, Counselling or a relevant welfare field. KSC2 Understanding of and a demonstrated ability in recognised processes, policies, programs and research relating to student wellbeing, including the use of restorative practice to resolve conflict and restore relationships. KSC3 Experience in the delivery of student and family wellbeing services and programs in a real setting and preferably experience working within schools in the area of student wellbeing. KSC4 Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and network with the wide range of people within the education and the wider community. KSC5 Experience in the development and delivery of proactive programs to develop optimism, resilience, organisational skills, leadership, health and wellbeing and interpersonal skills in adolescents. KSC6 Experience in working in a diverse community, demonstrating understanding of cultural, and linguistic challenges. Role The Wellbeing & Counselling Team Manager primary role is to ensure the effective implementation of Wellbeing at the school. The role reports to the Student Support Services Leaders and should have excellent communication, organisation and career knowledge in order to provide strategic pathways and partnerships advice. Responsibilities Manage the direct leadership of the counselling and wellbeing team members. This includes, coordinating and facilitating case referral meetings, reviewing complex cases with the team and providing feedback and support to team members Deputize for the Student Support Services when required Conduct the Wellbeing Liaison role with two Houses Manage the links and contact with external organizations and agencies including Child Protection
