Job Title: Research Communications Officer
Contribute to a variety of projects that increase the Centre's external presence across a range of audiences.
About the Role:
Support the development and implementation of a strategic communications, outreach and engagement plan for the Centre.
* Coordinate internal and external events, both in-person and online.
* Promote Centre research to government, industry and schools using digital communications channels.
* Contribute to the production, distribution and monitoring of media and social media content.
Requirements:
A degree in communications, journalism, broadcasting/video production or event management; or extensive experience in relevant roles.
* Demonstrated experience in program or events management and a commitment to delivering quality service.
* Strong skills in video production and editing, graphic design and/or up-to-date knowledge of social media use in a professional context.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills consistent with dealing with a diverse range of people.
Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
