As an On Site Representative you will be responsible for coordinating the operations of the distribution fleet. In addition, you’ll also be responsible for the efficient and effective coordination, loading, sorting and preparation of stock to be forwarded. You will act as the key point of contact for customers and stakeholders, providing them excellent customer service and managing queries.
What you'll do as an On Site Representative (but not limited to):
1. Ensure all deliveries are collected and delivered within dedicated timeframes
2. Ensure any delays or deviations are communicated as soon as possible to the customer
3. Ensure all vehicles are compliant with load restraint and all or COR responsibilities
4. Accurately manage pallet exchanges and transfers daily to ensure reconciliation
5. Work closely with customer staff to develop efficiencies, meet KPI’s and improve customer relations
6. Communicate any operational problems to the Operational Services Manager as soon as they are identified
What you'll bring to the On Site Representative Role:
1. 2+ years experience in a similar role (as described above). You may also have had experience as a Fleet Supervisor, and/or a Fleet Allocator, very transferrable skill sets for this position
2. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced/pressurised environment
3. Exceptional delegation skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
4. A ‘continuous improvement’ mindset, with great attention to detail
Please note hours: Expect hours to be typically M-F, 6am-2pm. An element of flexibility may be required on occasions.
