Position Details: Full-time: 76 or 80 (including ADO) hours per fortnight Fixed term: 12-month contract with potential for extension Salary range: $93,496-100,918 full-time equivalent (dependent on experience) Based at 553 St Kilda Road Be a part of the Monash and Alfred research program Staff benefits Department: This position is for the Australian Dementia Network (ADNeT) Registry, a national clinical quality registry to drive continuous improvement in quality of care and patient outcomes from the time of diagnosis with dementia or mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The ADNeT Registry has been developed as part of the broader ADNeT initiative, a multi-institutional consortium of dementia researchers and clinicians. The registry captures data on people newly diagnosed with dementia or MCI from the time of diagnosis. Position: The ADNeT Registry Senior Research Officer position will provide high-quality project and research support services to facilitate the successful operations of the ADNeT Registry. Under broad direction, the Senior Research Officer will lead and oversee a range of day-to-day registry activities, including ethics and governance activities, documentation management activities, and patient recruitment activities. The Senior Research Officer will also support other registry activities, including data management, site engagement, registry-related projects, and provide assistance to the Steering Committee, the Clinician Management Committee, and team meetings. This position requires a good understanding of the ethics and governance requirements for research, strong organisational and administrative skills, and well-developed oral and written communication skills. Key Selection Criteria: Education/Qualifications: A degree in a health or science related field, or Experience and specialist expertise in registries and/or clinical trials, or Experience and specialist expertise in project management in the healthcare setting; or An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
