Add expected salary to your profile for insights Advancing careers.Advancing everyday life.Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our high performing Clermont team onsite.Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 11 million tonnes of coal per annum.Clermont Open Cut Operation is a safe, dynamic, and inclusive workplace focused on delivering high performance outcomes.The primary purpose of this role is to project manage activities associated with preparing and implementing mine closure plans in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.Reporting to the Operations Manager/SSE and positioned within the site senior leadership team, this role will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.In this role you will: Coordinate and lead the Clermont Mine Closure Project Lead the scoping and delivery of site rehabilitation, demolition, asset disposal and closure objectives ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and within budget, scope and schedule Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure project goals are achieved Implement and manage processes for cost management, scheduling and risk management related to mine closure Drive the site closure budgeting process Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health safety and environmental responsibility by ensuring you and your team comply with Clermont Open Cut's and GCAA's SHMS and all relevant legislation Requirements of the role include: Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or Trade (Desirable) Proved Project Management experience in mining/resources/civil construction or heavy industry High level of business and commercial acumen Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines Experience in the design, construction and management of large, complex mining/infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders Experience within the coal industry would be highly desirable Excellent interpersonal, cooperative and facilitation skills as part of interfacing with various level of management and external bodies and agencies Ability to work in high pressure and competing priority/ambiguous environments for sustained periods including outside normal business hours Ability to manage and build positive relationships Act decisively, honestly and with integrity at all times Excellent written and verbal communication skills QLD Drivers Licence What We Offer Highly competitive remuneration package including an annual short-term incentive bonus Nine-day fortnight (5/2/4/3) work pattern available Fully maintained Company vehicle FIFO, DIDO or Residential options available Professional development, tailored training opportunities and a generous education assistance program Healthy Lifestyle reimbursement scheme, up to $5,000 per year Heavily subsidised Company housing along with a generous local living allowance when residing locally in local community of Clermont Relocation Assistance Applications close: 27 January 2025 All internal employees should discuss their application with their immediate Manager prior to applying for this role.Glencore provides unrivalled career and development prospects, great communities and the opportunity to work with leaders in your field.#J-18808-Ljbffr
