Business Analyst - Asset Management Transformation Program (AMTP)My client is seeking to engage the professional services of a Business Analyst in the IT Solution Delivery team to support the Asset Management Transformation Program (AMTP) stakeholders with their digital transformation including knowledge sharing, problem definition, process design and risk identification related activities.
The AMTP is about improving the way we undertake the whole lifecycle of asset management from planning and execution to ongoing monitoring and review. Asset Management aligns the organisation and drives a culture of customer and stakeholder focus. It is underpinned by capable people, effective and efficient processes, tools and systems. The AMTP BA will be joining a small team of BAs (3 total) who are working together with the rest of the program team to support the program, its initiatives and stakeholders.
The resources shall be available to commence work from the 3rd of March 2025 for an initial period of 12 months, with likely extension for the right candidate, subject to performance and further investment approvals.
The AMTP Business Analyst will report to the Business Analysis & Readiness Capability Manager from an admin and capability perspective.
They will be a part of a range of projects and initiatives within the infrastructure domain and will report to their assigned Program Manager for their project-related tasks and responsibilities. In the first six months of their assignment, it is anticipated they may also be asked to work to support other IT projects and initiatives as the program ramps up to full capacity.
Responsibilities: The resource will need to have had previous experience working with a large or very large IT department similar with experience with:Core BA skills, such as data analysis in Excel, facilitating workshops, requirements gathering, benefits identification and realisation.Soft skills, such as those required to effectively communicate complex concepts in layperson terms, and to appropriately manage stakeholder expectations."As is" process capture and "to be" process design.Lean process improvement to identify areas of waste or areas of a process that can be improved.Working in an agile environment, whilst not necessarily implementing an Agile methodology.Project establishment and closure activities, such as problem identification/definition, development of business cases, identification of project budgets, and operational handover support (including development of associated documentation).In addition to the above it is highly desirable that the resource has experience of:Digital Transformation Projects;Utilities, Mining or other similar sectors.Candidate Profile: To enable a good cultural fit, the resource will need to be:Dynamic and flexible to respond to the changing needs of the business;A dynamic and facilitative project team member, willing to undertake any task required to deliver the team objectives;Creative with the ability to think outside the box for innovative solutions.Application Process: APPLY NOW - Don't send a cover letter, just your CV.
