DescriptionAbout OzHarvest:OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change their behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.About the role:Part-Time | 2 Days a Week (15.2 hours) | Preferable on Tues/Wed or Wed/ThursAre you passionate about fighting food waste and making a difference in the community? Join OzHarvest as a Food Rescue Engagement Coordinator and play a key role in building strong relationships with our partner agencies while ensuring compliance and maximizing our impact.What You'll Do:Agency Relations & Compliance: Maintain strong partnerships with agencies, ensuring they safely handle and distribute food to those in need.Business Development & Growth: Identify opportunities to expand our impact through new services and collaborations.Research & Coordination: Manage data, support logistics, and work with teams to enhance food rescue operations.WHS Compliance: Ensure safety standards are met across operations.What We're Looking For:Experience in customer service, relationship management, or business development.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for sustainability and food rescue.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Requirements:Current driver’s license and valid police check.Food Safety and Manual Handling certificates (training provided).Understanding of WHS legislation and Safe Food Practices.If you're excited to contribute to reducing food waste and helping communities thrive, apply today and join our team of changemakers at OzHarvest!To apply:Please follow through the online application process and attach your CV, a cover letter, and include a message as to “Why would you like to work at OzHarvest?” (creativity encouraged!).
