Sailing Ingredients Pty Ltd trading as I Maccheroni is a Casual Dining restaurant in Woollahra serving classic Italian food with Australian influences to use local fresh products.
We're currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef of Regional Italian Cuisine to join our team.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications and/or 2-5 years previous experience working in a similar position.
We are looking for an industry professional who can demonstrate:

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
* Planning menus and daily/weekly specials
* Estimating food and labour cost
* Ordering food supplies and kitchen equipment
* Monitoring quality of dishes, both preparation and presentation
* Preparing and cooking food
* Enforcing Food Health and Safety
* Discussing food preparation issues with managers, dieticians, kitchen and floor staff
* Teaching cooking techniques, and cooking procedures to kitchen staff
* Maintaining contact with suppliers to ensure quality of food and items delivered
* Continuous self-training in new cooking techniques and style to maintain a fresh and novel menu
This is a full time position working 40-50 hours / 6.5 days. A remuneration package around $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
