The successful applicant will be provided with a 4x4 Dual Cab Ute + fuel card About the role Maintain daily performance goals by effective leadership of workers and subcontractors.Bring your allocated construction projects to practical completion on time, on budgeted hours, and with client-satisfying quality.Communicate required resources clearly and daily (materials, plant & equipment, staff, contractors, and maintenance division).Validate work performed by construction workers, Trades Assistants, and Apprentices.Order materials and contractors in a timely fashion to avoid project delays and ensure that each delivery of goods is physically checked for quality and quantity.Manage, locate, evaluate & select sub-contractors, conducting inspections at critical phases, and liaise with management regarding the progress of the project.Complete progress reports as per schedule or as directed.Work with integrity and ethics, keep commitments, and treat people with respect.Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards.Know the site safety plan, SMP, and ensure everyone follows it.Ensure accurate records are kept of who is present on the site.Provide appropriate site training to all employees, apprentices, contractors, and visitors, paying specific attention to young and/or inexperienced workers.Ensure contractors follow site rules and have appropriate Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for high-risk construction work, suitable for the site.Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn as required by WHS legislation, industry standards, and company policies.Conduct regular risk and hazard inspections, fix hazards or, if you can't, promptly raise the issue to the next level.Ensure that all other Safe Workplace Procedures, TMPs, and related company policies are followed at all times.The successful candidates will possess: Previous Project Manager experience in commercial landscaping.Competence in interpreting drawings, specifications, and contracts.Strong construction knowledge base across a number of trades.Strong understanding of contracts, programs, and budgets.Conversant with Quality, Environment, Safety Management Systems.Advanced knowledge of common software solutions (Microsoft) and relevant apps.Communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently in written and oral forms to both internal and external clients at all levels.Operate above the line at all times.Commitment to success.Uphold integrity and professionalism in all tasks.Strong communication and organizational skills.Knowledgeable about current construction practices and standards.Please note, successful applicants will be required to undergo a full medical assessment with drug testing prior to the commencement of employment.
