As part of a strategic refresh, the company is seeking procurement professionals to manage sourcing and purchasing for major projects.
You'll be:
1. Spearheading the procurement of vital mechanical and electrical resources, ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule.
2. Scouring the market for top-tier suppliers, securing the best deals on price, quality, and reliability.
3. Flexing your negotiation skills to secure advantageous terms and maximize cost savings.
4. The conduit between the procurement and engineering teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
5. Staying ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of industry trends and innovations.
Key Requirements
6. Proven experience in procurement, ideally within engineering or construction.
7. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
8. Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Highly Desirable
10. Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
11. Adaptability and willingness to travel in NSW.
12. Creative problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
