About the role
The Maintenance Manager is a full-time permanent position, based at Jindera, Albury. Reporting to Operations Manager you will be a hands-on collaborative leader & your role will be to plan, schedule and monitor all maintenance activities and foster cross functional teamwork.
In this role you will:
* Lead the Maintenance team to ensure effective operation of the site to maximise efficiency and cost.
* Effectively managing maintenance activities within allocated costs.
* Manage all service contractors to comply with WSHE requirements
* Planning and scheduling maintenance and shutdowns as required to achieve KPI targets
What you bring to the role:
* Tertiary/formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications
* Solid background in Maintenance/Engineering Management experience within a manufacturing operations environment
* Experience in successfully leading a Maintenance team & the ability to drive/improve a strong culture
* Sound understanding of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
* Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and knowledge of wide variety of equipment
* Strong focus around safety
