Administrative Assistant
Contract length: 2 + months
Location: Hobart (free parking available)
Hourly Rate: $33-35 per hour + super
Part time temporary contract: 16 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome clients and visitors, answer phones, manage emails, and handle inquiries with a friendly, professional attitude.
* Prepare and issue invoices, manage data entry tasks, and maintain accuracy in financial records.
* Manage office supply orders and maintain inventory to ensure resources are stocked and readily available.
* Reconcile transactions, maintain records, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks to support financial operations.
* Organise and maintain files, schedule meetings, and provide general office support as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
About You:
* Experience in administration, reception, or a similar role (1-2 years preferred)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Simpro would be ideal.
* Great communication skills: clear, professional, and able to interact effectively with clients and team members
* A proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude
