Registered Midwife (Graduate) (Midwifery Group Practice)
An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Midwife (Graduate) (Midwifery Group Practice) to join the Bundaberg Family Unit at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
The Wide Bay area is renowned for its natural beauty, stretching from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South, providing acute care services to over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.
This position offers:
* A collaborative midwifery service with individualised continuity of care through pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period, working in a caseload model with authority, responsibility and accountability for achieving quality care and monitoring outcomes for allocated women.
* Opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development of the Midwifery Group Practice using primary health care principles to enhance options of care and improve outcomes for women by providing services within a social, holistic and primary health care framework.
* MGP is a midwifery led model of care following a caseload model in accordance with the award, involving planning, coordinating and implementing care for a known group of women, as well as providing support to other staff.
The successful candidate will be involved in the implementation of holistic care along the continuum of antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum periods.

* A competitive remuneration package value up to $121,107 per annum, comprising salary between $82,753 - $106,144 per annum plus an all purpose loading of 35%
* Employer contribution to superannuation up to 12.75% and annual leave loading 17.5%
