Event Management (Marketing & Communications) Position : Full-TimeLocation : Abbey Museum and Art Gallery. Caboolture QLDHours : 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Five days per week. Will include weekends when events are held and occasional public holidays. This role is not suitable for regular remote work.Salary : Based on experience and suitability. About the role: We are offering a brand-new Marketing and Events Assistant role, to support our hard-working team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across marketing, event coordination, and promotions, with the added benefit of working on-the-ground during live events. Reporting to both the Marketing Manager and the Events Manager, this varied role will see you maintaining our digital marketing platforms and ensuring engaging content. You will assist in creating marketing materials like brochures and digital ads with the support of the Marketing Manager. Additionally, you'll gather, schedule, and post social media content, and communicate upcoming events and promotions to front-line staff and volunteers to ensure they provide an exceptional customer experience. You will spend time in the great outdoors working on the ground to help ensure the smooth execution of activities. From assisting in staff coordination to managing event logistics and set up. You will be an essential part of the team to ensure everything runs according to plan. As most events take place over weekends and during school holiday periods, you will need to be available during these times. About you: You will need the following demonstrated attributes to be successful: Tertiary level, written and verbal communication skills in the English language A meticulous attention for detail, demonstrated through observation, acute appetite for specifics and a thoroughness in revision Demonstrated organisational abilities as evidenced by prioritisation and time management, planning and scheduling techniques, documentation and record keeping, communication, updates and follow up, and management of your physical space.
