The role formulates, coordinates, and evaluates unit based educational programs; assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures. The aim of the position is to use a participation methodology to build:The capacity of individuals to deliver safe, evidenced based care, incorporating reflective practice with the aim of continual improvement.A patient and family focused culture that supports the NUM and staff to deliver innovative models of care and proactively manage change.The position contributes to the overall improvement of health service delivery.Minimum Requirements: Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications, or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.Demonstrated understanding and experience in various teaching methodologies including the ability to plan, conduct and evaluate unit based education.Able to work a 7 day rotating roster.About working for Sydney Local Health District - NSW Health This is a Category A position.
