About the Division Business Services focuses on: compliance with department policies managing end-to-end procurement and financial and recruitment processes for branches optimising business support processes by identifying opportunities for improvements through change management practices. Our purpose: implement procurement, financial and HR policy efficiency and compliance provide procurement, financial and people services to all IMTD branches support the Division with change management and communication activities to establish and embed new ways of working optimise processes in business support areas. About the Role We are seeking a Workforce Capability Officer (VPS3) to join our Business Services Branch within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD). This role plays a critical part in the recruitment and workforce planning processes, working closely with people leaders and key stakeholders to ensure compliance, excellence, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Manager Workforce Capability Services, the Workforce Capability Officer will support recruitment activities across the division, ensuring alignment with HR policies and merit processes. You will assist with the maintenance of records, generation of reports, and support talent management efforts to meet workforce needs. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence. Attributes Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a team, with a focus on customer needs and continuous improvement. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Desirable Qualifications and Experience Strong understanding of VPS recruitment processes and HR policy compliance. Proficiency in MS Visio, Excel, and Word.
