Our client is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join their team in Brisbane. This role is pivotal in defining business processes through detailed investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting current processes, assisting in defining future states for all payroll, and time and attendance processes. You will be tasked with defining business processes through detailed investigation, gathering both technical and non-technical information. Your expertise will be crucial in documenting current processes and assisting in defining future states for all payroll, time and attendance processes. You will also have the opportunity to create detailed functional specifications, process maps, and use cases that guide the development and implementation of new systems.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to the payroll and workforce management systems.Facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.Create detailed business process models, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for process improvements.Work with technical teams to design and propose solutions that address business requirements and challenges.Develop clear and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and user stories.Review, recommend and implement changes to processes to maintain legal obligations.Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee-related personal information.What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Payroll Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in large-scale payroll-related programs. You possess strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity. Your exceptional interpersonal skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. With your strong critical thinking skills, you are adept at proposing practical solutions to complex business problems.
