Your Role
This combined administrative position focuses on both timetabling and senior schooling administration at Park Ridge State High School. The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Principal to ensure the smooth daily operations of the school's scheduling system, while also managing a range of senior schooling administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include managing and triaging timetable changes, assisting with the creation of annual, termly, and semester-based timetables in OneSchool, and supporting the elective selection process to ensure effective allocation of resources and class schedules. Additionally, the role involves managing senior student enrolments, subject changes, data management, and ensuring compliance with the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and other relevant bodies.
The Administration Officer will capture and update data on attendance, behaviour, and enrolments; input and upload AARA documentation; enrol students, manage subject changes, and ensure timely updates to the QCAA system. This role also requires processing VET enrolments, ensuring compliance with USI requirements, and tracking competencies and certificates.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders are essential for success in this role, which is vital to the efficient operation of both timetabling and senior schooling processes at the school.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining and updating the timetable in collaboration with the Deputy Principal
* Overseeing senior student enrolments, subject changes, data management, AARA documentation, VET enrolments, and compliance with QCAA, USI requirements, and relevant bodies, ensuring accurate record-keeping and communication with stakeholders.
* Managing updates in OneSchool, IDAttend, and QParents as required
* Providing administrative support as needed, including front reception and student counter duties
* Maintaining QCAA accuracy of data
About You
The successful applicant will ideally:
* Have experience working in a school environment
* Possess a strong understanding of programs such as IDAttend, OneSchool, and Microsoft Teams
* Have experience with OneSchool timetabling (highly desirable)
* Demonstrate excellent multitasking and time management skills while meeting deadlines
* Work collaboratively in a team environment
* Be receptive to feedback and respond proactively
