My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join their team. If you are looking for a sea change or a local looking for a new opportunity, this could be the role for you!
Recent renovations of the dealership now offer a state-of-the-art, modern workshop, with new equipment in place.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Carrying out a range of engine and mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service all brands of vehicles on site.
* Preventative maintenance.
* Troubleshooting and fault finding.
* Completing basic paperwork/log books.
* Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.
* Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes to relating to dealer product range.
* Conferring with the Service Advisor to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
* Maintaining and enhancing the production control system.
The Successful Candidate:
* Completed your Cert III in automotive (light vehicle).
* Current WA repairers licence.
* Sound diagnostic skills.
* Developed knowledge of the automotive industry.
* Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment.
* Auto electrical competencies will be highly advantageous.
* Current driver's license.
* An understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Must have own tools.
