We are looking for a motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations and drive the continued success of our store.
Main Duties:Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery.Manage seafood inventory, including ordering, stock control, and minimising waste to maintain freshness and quality.Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management to meet business targets.Generating data from the POS system, analyse and interpret data for decision making which assist in optimal buying, profitably analysis, plan future demand trends.Develop and implement sales strategies to drive profitability and customer engagement.Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and brand awareness.Recruit, train, supervise, and assess staff to maintain high levels of performance and customer service excellence.Establish and maintain strong relationships with seafood suppliers, stakeholders, and the local community.Ensure outstanding customer service by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations, ensuring the highest hygiene standards.Analyse sales trends and customer preferences to optimise product offerings and pricing strategies.Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of bachelor's degree in business administration.At least 2 years of professional experience in a busy environment and possess knowledge of retail industryProven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities to address challenges.Excellent knowledge of seafood sourcing, handling, presentation, preparation (including filleting, Sashmi grading)Hands on experience on 'Point of Sale System' ideally in a seafood retail industry.Australian citizens/permanent residents preferred.
