Our client is an Australian-owned and operated waste management company who are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team and work out of their remote workshops.

Reporting directly to the workshop foreman, this position will involve but not be limited to:
* General services, repairs, and maintenance of machinery used within a transfer station
* Both major and minor repairs
* Carrying out breakdown repairs
* Scheduled maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
* Certificate III Heavy Diesel Technologies or equivalent
* Extensive experience working on a variety of machinery
* A current HR truck driving licence and forklift licence would be advantageous.
* Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics, and welding
* Familiarity with quality assurance & occupational health & safety
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Be reliable, motivated, and able to work under pressure and changing priorities.
