Salary Package: $50k – $60k + Super

Role Overview
This Accounts Administrator will be responsible for managing financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. Daily tasks include reconciling accounts, assisting with budget preparation, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires effective communication with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support financial operations. Additionally, the Accounts Administrator will contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and support month-end reporting activities. The role also includes many general administrative duties such as staff/office amenities orders and organisation.
This role would be suitable for someone who is early in their career, who has some basic accounting experience but is eager to learn and grow their skills. You will be working alongside a supportive and passionate team that work towards a greater goal of business growth and development.
Responsibilities
* Conducting month-end closing procedures on the last day of each month.
* Creating, printing, and mailing month-end statements.
* Verifying schedules and dockets prior to invoicing.
* Generating invoices and credits.
* Managing general debtor inquiries via phone and email.
* Following up on outstanding dockets and providing weekly reports as requested.
* Filing and archiving monthly invoices.
* Performing general filing tasks as requested.
* Preparing reports, including Back-order, On-order, Inventory, and Sales History Reports.
* Managing stationery orders by confirming receipt and organizing in designated areas.
* Handling staff amenities orders by confirming receipt and placing items in designated areas.
* Overseeing mail distribution.
* Conducting banking tasks, including writing cheques for cashing (requiring visits to the bank several times a week).
Candidate Profile
You are a driven and proactive individual with an eagerness to learn and develop your skills. The ideal candidate has some basic experience in an AP/AR general experience and have outstanding communication skills. You appreciate positive working relationships and are flexible in working through hurdles in a rapid environment. A passion for continuous improvement and perpetually expanding your knowledge is your goal.
