About the Role: As a Senior Demand Planner, you will be responsible for leading the forecasting process, ensuring optimal stock availability, and driving data-driven insights to enhance sales and supply chain efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to anticipate market trends that impact demand planning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate short-term and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models. Monitor sales patterns, promotional activities, and external factors to adjust forecasts accordingly. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure demand plans align with business objectives. Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Production teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste. Work closely with Commercial teams to assess the impact of new product launches, seasonal trends, and promotions on demand. Lead monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to review demand forecasts and drive consensus. Utilize advanced analytics and demand planning tools (SAP IBP, APO, Excel, Power BI) to generate insights and improve forecast accuracy. Identify demand fluctuations, potential risks, and opportunities to support decision-making. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels. Continuously refine forecasting models and planning processes to drive efficiency and cost savings. Implement best practices in demand planning and contribute to the development of new forecasting methodologies. Support digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain to enhance data-driven decision-making. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Minimum 5 years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. Experience working with large-scale, complex demand planning in a global or multi-site organization. Strong proficiency in demand planning tools (SAP IBP, APO, JDA, Power BI, Excel, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Experience in S&OP processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
