About The Role
This dynamic role requires you to provide expert and authoritative strategic advice on current, evolving, and emerging policy issues internally and at state and Commonwealth level. You will shape and execute strategic plans, policies and approaches critical to achieving TAFE NSW's organisational objectives, maintaining a prominent position within the government and Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors, and the broader community.
An influential and collaborative leader, you will hold responsibility for the Executive & Ministerial Liaison Unit, Strategy & Research, Strategic Planning & Policy, and Strategic Projects functions whilst managing the delivery of secretariat services to TAFE NSW Board and Executive.
Your responsibilities will extend to leading engagement with key stakeholders, enhancing our profile and influence, and optimising TAFE NSW's strategic planning contributions whilst encompassing effective representation of our brand, initiatives, and priorities.
Closely partnering with the Managing Director, you will act as the key relationship manager with the Ministers Office, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution on sensitive issues whilst providing a holistic view of major projects and initiatives.
About You
Experience with operations and processes of government is highly regarded along with industry knowledge of the Education or VET sector. This is your opportunity to further contribute to the success of TAFE NSW in the education and training sector.
