Do you want to contribute to exciting commercial and residential infrastructure in your community and build a sustainable future?Lead and support our dynamic team at Boral's Derwent Park Concrete Plant and play a key role in Building Something Great.The primary focus of this role will be to oversee operations and will involve day-to-day decision making, delegation of tasks, and enforcing of safety rules, policies, and procedures.You will play a key part in Boral's Tasmanian leadership team and will ensure the plant is operating to its highest standards.Your day will involve:Leading a team of Operators and drivers within the plant.Communicating and coordinating with a fleet of agitator drivers.Ordering raw material stock of cement, sand, aggregates, additive chemicals, etc.Batching pre-mix concrete into agitator trucks for delivery.Facilitating safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting.Ensuring that general yard housekeeping, maintenance, and plant operations are undertaken.Providing a high level of service with internal and external stakeholders (customers, dispatching team, drivers, management, etc.
