We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team based in Bendigo. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and expertise in diesel engines. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Salary: $65 per hour + Superannuation (includes loading)
Overtime: Overtime is available daily and on Saturdays if you wish.
Shift: Afternoon shift - 12pm to 8:30pm
Work Schedule: Mon - Thursday 12:00pm to 8:30 and Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting diagnostics to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
* Performing repairs and replacements on diesel engines, fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
* Troubleshooting mechanical problems and developing effective solutions.
* Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility to work afternoon shifts
