The Service
KU Faulconbridge Children's Centrelocated in the beautiful Blue Mountains offers a thriving, purpose-built 58 place long day care service for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Designed by Architect, Graeme Butler, the service offers an excellent learning environment for young children, with specifically designed indoor play spaces and a large outdoor play area.
We are looking for a permanent, full time Service Director to innovate, inspire, motivate and lead a dedicated team. You will bring your sound pedagogical knowledge, experience of developing and maintaining relationships with children and families, rostering, mentoring, daily routines, policy implementation whilst building a harmonious working environment. You will have the support of a dedicated and experienced service administrator as well as the Education and Quality team, education support manager, learning and development facilitator and wider support services available across the organisation.
This is a permanent, full time position working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. You will receive a generous director's allowance and accrue a monthly rostered day off in addition to usual annual leave entitlements.

Of course, you will need:
* A current NSW Working with Children Check
* An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
* Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma andAnaphylaxis Management certificates
* NESA Teacher Accreditation
* Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
* Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
