About the role
Our new Cloud Integration Test Analyst will involve collaborating with developers, solution architects, integration engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure robust and reliable integration solutions.
You will plan, execute, and track unit/integration test plans to meet business requirements. In addition, you will engage with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs, ensuring seamless operation of cloud-based systems and applications.
Key accountabilities include:
1. Translate business requirements into detailed test packages, plans, and cases.
2. Develop and maintain functional and non-functional test plans for AWS integration solutions.
3. Perform various types of testing on APIs, data pipelines, ETL, and other integration components.
4. Implement and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and JMeter.
5. Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
6. Track and document issues using defect management tools.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve integration issues.
8. Set up monitoring and alerting for test environments using AWS CloudWatch.
9. Prepare test reports and provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
10. Conduct data validation and security testing to ensure compliance.
11. Review code and design discussions to improve integration testing quality.
About you
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
1. Must have 4+ years’ experience successfully working as a Cloud Integration Tester specifically within an AWS integration environment.
2. Demonstrated experience in API test automation with Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Codebuild along with Postman.
3. Established experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, or similar.
4. Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases for integration platforms.
5. Must have demonstrated experience with the following technology/standard stacks:
6. Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
7. Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data transformation and integration patterns.
8. Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms.
9. AWS certification such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (highly desirable).
