About the Role:
As part of our digital transformation, we are enhancing the way we deliver data to clients, focusing on agility and efficiency. We’re seeking a Product Modeller to lead this transformation, shaping how we create and deliver commodity data. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in data platforms, set industry standards, and support data governance initiatives, including metadata harmonization and protocol development.

Responsibilities:
We are simplifying and transforming our Excel models using templated algorithms, streamlining complex calculations while maintaining precision. In this role, you’ll gain deep insight into commodity analysis, particularly in fertilizers, and learn how business, software, and data analysis intersect to deliver solutions.
Collaborate in a dynamic, problem-solving team, covering for colleagues in data delivery, project development, and lifecycle management.
Diagnose problems, research, and write business requirements to prioritize solutions.
Understand CRU metadata, protocols, client needs, and best modeling practices.
Apply the appropriate data tools and techniques within the Snowflake environment.
Write detailed design requirements to improve models, processes, and algorithms.
Build or collaborate on developing solutions in CRU software.
Present clear evidence of progress, diagnose issues, and champion best practices with internal and external stakeholders.
Test models to meet business requirements, anticipate issues, and proactively optimize data models.
Train and mentor colleagues, sharing best practices across CRU globally.
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications:Degree in numerate discipline: math, natural science, engineering, computer science, or economics.
Skills & Experience:
0-4 years of experience as Product Modeller, Data Analyst, BI Developer, or similar.
Proven ability to read and write math and formal notation. Some experience with Excel, Excel formulas, and data analysis is desired.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts such as Attributes, Annotations, Formula, Objects, Cube, Dataset, Slice, Range, Templates, Parameters, Instances, Value Tree, Landing Page, Dashboard of KPI, and Data adopters.
Familiarity with business intelligence analytics such as Market Lever Analysis, Profit Line Chart, Dimension Editor, Time-Based Canvas, Input Editor, Scenario Analyzer, Fixed and Variable Cost Breakdown analysis.
Experience with Python, SQL, and HTML will be useful.
