Mesh & Bar Pty Ltd is an innovative independent steel reinforcing company. We operate from premises in Brisbane's western suburb of Redbank, where we manufacture and distribute steel reinforcement products and associated building products to the construction industry.We currently have an opportunity for a permanent Customer Service Officer to assist with a variety of tasks and join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role will provide sales support to the existing Customer Service Officers and our Sales Representatives.Duties include but are not limited to:Receiving incoming calls and emails and assisting with placing orders, product enquiries, quotes and problem solvingSupporting internal and external customers with order status, inventory levels and delivery schedulesLiaise with key staff and departments to ensure customers' orders and expectations are met on time and in fullMaintain customer relationshipsProcess customer returns and creditsAssisting other team members as and when requiredThe successful applicant requires:Previous experience in a customer service role in reinforcing is highly desiredDemonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer serviceA pleasant & professional telephone mannerA high standard for customer serviceExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient in the use of Microsoft OfficeOutstanding organisation and time management skills – ability to multi-taskAbility to communicate well and work closely within a team environmentA desire to progress within our organisationThis is a varied, busy and challenging role, with emphasis on a team environment, offering a variety of tasks.
