THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Service Desk Team Member based at Gepps Cross. Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager and as an integral member of the IT services team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure Stratco's operational requirements are enabled through reliable and well-supported technology platforms. You will be part of a talented, close-knit team of dedicated IT professionals, working collaboratively to support our national team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and resolve helpdesk requests in a timely and effective manner
Troubleshoot network, hardware, software, printer, mobile devices, etc. issues
Maintain asset records and relevant documentation
Provide high-level support to various industry and custom applications
Understand change, problem, and release management principles
Develop checklists for typical problems, recommend procedures & controls for prevention
Provide end-user support to all Stratco sites nationally and internationally; some travel may be required
Collaborate with team members, other business areas, and projects as required
Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated experience as per key responsibilities mentioned above
Applicable qualifications in an IT-related discipline
A passion to deliver outstanding customer service with the ability to build and support professional working relationships at all levels
Highly developed time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
Capacity to consistently meet deadlines with conflicting priorities in addition to having a strong sense of proactivity and initiative
Experience configuring and administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Server products including Active Directory and Exchange
Knowledge of WAN/LAN, IP Networking, DHCP/DNS, and general network principles
Knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments including current and previous generations
Experience with SOE maintenance and deployment
