You will be part of history in the making, and while we’re at it, we will be shaping your future too.About The OpportunitySRLA is seeking to engage a Deputy Director, Engineering, Stations to provide technical and design leadership across the design teams, interacting daily with multiple disciplines including design, engineering, construction, planning, environment, community, and stakeholder relations. This role ensures that technical, design and engineering activities for the project meets all business requirements within scope, quality, safety assurance, time, and cost constraints, as well as regulatory and accreditation requirements.This role will lead all engineering and design activities for the Stations team through the preparation of tender documents for delivery contractors and the management of all engineering deliverables on behalf of SRLA during the delivery phase. The role will build a team within the stations team as required whilst utilising and coordinating with the central engineering and assurance functions capabilities.You will be a highly focused and driven person who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure, working within a high-performing project team to drive exceptional outcomes. You will be a qualified Engineer or similar discipline with experience working within large infrastructure projects, preferably within the rail industry.
