Sydney Asset Management Contract or Temporary The Client Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of clients in order to build and maintain effective client relationships and deliver superior client service, ensuring all trustee obligations/operational activities are met in a timely manner. This role will be hired as an initial 3 month contract with a quick start. WHV holders with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have around 3 years in unit trust, managed funds, Trustee and client services experience from either a fund manager, custodian, Trustee or fund services firms. Completion of relevant fund obligations applicable to the role of trustee and responsible entity for a portfolio of registered and unregistered trusts Assist the Senior Manager and Senior Client Service Manager to ensure compliance is managed appropriately in accordance with compliance plan controls. Coordinate and manage updates to scheme documents including PDS updates and service provider agreements. Participate in disclosure document and fund promotion material due diligence. Develop & maintain operational relationships with key clients and service providers. Review regular reports received by each client for compliance with scheme/trust reporting and disclosure requirements. Escalate any legal/regulatory red flags to senior members of the Client Management Team Ensure all regulatory lodgements (annual financial statements, tax returns and annual distributions) completed at year end in a timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures. Assist Relationship Manager and Risk Manager with annual compliance plan audit and any other risk or regulatory related audit or review Experience requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in operating or providing services to a registered or unregistered trust. Strong client management and process management skills Working knowledge of the managed funds industry and operational experience (custody, administration, registry, audit, investment operations) relating to managed investment schemes is highly regarded. Business/accounting/economics/law degree desirable
