Find your future with us.Boeing Aerostructures Australia is seeking a well-rounded and highly motivated Configuration Management Specialist to join our Port Melbourne team to support our Boeing products.This role is based at our Port Melbourne facility and is 100% onsite.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the Configuration and Data Management plans, processes and procedures, in accordance with business and contractual requirementsMaintain the programs product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes, and current approved configuration in the configuration status accounting toolsPerform lifecycle management of engineering changes including participation in the Change Control Boards and acting as release authority for design dataEffectively interface with project team members and our customersParticipate in product technical design reviews and audits as requiredLimited administrative support for the teamBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a design, manufacturing or maintenance industry;Experience in managing configuration of products in a Product Lifecycle Management system, electronic document management system, or similar;Experience interpreting Engineering drawings, 3D CAD and Specifications is preferredFormal Configuration Management training / certification is preferredPlease note that applicant must hold Australian Citizenship to meet defence security requirements.About our benefits:Monthly rostered day off available with time off in lieuAdditional annual Boeing Day offStrong career opportunitiesAccess to Boeing Discount Program – an exclusive retail and services discount marketplaceAccess discounts for health insurance, travel and accommodationHealth and wellbeing benefits including annual flu vaccinations and Employee Assistance ProgramJoin community and social groupsAbout usBoeing Aerostructures Australia is Australia's leading designer and manufacturer of composite flight control components for commercial aircraft.
