We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional to fill the role of Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor at our branch in Gillman, Adelaide. About the role: Reporting to the Night Shift Manager, you will be required to supervise a team of up to 40 people and assist in organising, supervising, and controlling all work activity relating to picking, packing, assembly, loading, and delivery of products to ensure accuracy and maintain product integrity. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting. Duties: Maintain all equipment service and maintenance schedules Coach, mentor, and train staff as required Control and reduce warehouse expenses by minimising damages, wastage, and overtime Liaise with the Shift Manager regarding labour requirements and work process changes Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to Skills and Experience: Current Forklift licence (essential), Truck licence Proven experience in warehousing and distribution management and inventory control Exceptional time management and communication skills Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems Experience managing rosters and resources within budget constraints An understanding of HACCP, WHS, and HR Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team Bidfood can offer you: Staff discounted Pricing on 4000+ items Access to online workforce development programs Team member access to Corporate Health Plans and other staff benefits Employee Assistance programs to support Staff and their families If you believe you are the right person to join our business, please apply with your confidential resume.
