The role
We want motivated and enthusiastic school leavers and graduates to join our Non-Destructive Testing Traineeship Program starting at the beginning of 2025. You will gain practical ‘in field’ experience in NDT methodologies, whilst undertaking studies in Engineering at either Certificate or Advanced Diploma levels.
Trainees that successfully complete the Certificate III and meet the technical and non-technical requirements have the opportunity to complete an Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) and advanced NDT qualifications. This will then enable you to work by yourself as a NDT Technician within our business.
All qualifications and training expenses are fully funded by Bureau Veritas.
What’s needed?
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
* Year 12 and pass marks in Maths, English and Science; OR
* Commenced a mechanical trade certification
* Mechanical aptitude or an interest in how mechanical things work
* A “can do” attitude and a willingness to travel and work flexible hours

Our trainees have the great opportunity to earn while they learn by working with experienced technicians in the field. Trainees in Bureau Veritas earn a 1st year base salary of 43K but potential with OT to earn an average annual salary of $70,000 incl. overtime after their first year.
